Annual Trip to Quepos/Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica is going down from February 25th – March 2nd, 2027. Our Villa is a 10 bed, 10 bath, 10,500 square feet.
20 OAPB captains/anglers will travel together to stay in a luxurious 10 bedroom, 10 bathroom, 5 level Villa. 3 Sportfish vessels will be chartered for our OAPB tournament against each for cash and prizes for two days of fishing.
We depart on Thursday, February 25th in the morning, and arrive in San Jose, Costa Rica around 11am. Then hop onto a small plane to Quepos (30 min). Local taxis will bring our members to the local grocery store to load up on snacks and alcohol for our Villa in Manuel Antonio. Explore the villa, hop in the pool, dinner will be prepared, and the opportunity to create long life bonds with each other.
Friday- Full-day Fishing charter with 3 vessels (58′, 58′ 54′) Thank you to Carolina Gentleman Sportfishing for locking in our 3 vessels. 6 members first vessel. Mini-tourney against each other. Chef will prepare what we caught fishing that day. Option to stay at house and get in pool or check out downtown area for bar hopping, shopping, etc
Saturday – Sunset Cruise aboard Brisa Elegante (100′ Wooden Boat, Pirate Ship!) Spend the morning checking out Quepos and shopping then meet at the vessel at 1pm at Marina Paz Vela. Our chef will prepares surf (our catch from Friday) and turf (steak, chicken or vegetarian) dinner for us at our villa when we return.
Sunday – Second day of charter fishing if you opt in. Chef will prepare our catches after we return. Hang out at house or head into town or to the casino.
Monday – Open day to do whatever you want. We will plan to do a little house party and hang out for our last night.
Tuesday – Depart for Fort Lauderdale. Breakfast will be prepared. Shuttle will pick us up and transport us to the local airport. We will be taking a small plane from Quepos to San Jose.
