Wednesday, February 2, 2022- Kick-off Party- Only Thai Oakland Park Blvd just west of Federal on South Side), 7:30 PM-10:00 PM (Captain’s Meeting directly after 8:00 dinner)
Saturday, February 5, 2022- Fishing, Lines-in 8:00AM, Lines out 3:00 PM, weigh station TBD open 3:00 PM-5:00PM
Sunday, February 6, 2022- Awards Ceremony, Dennis Friel/Connected by Water art gallery, Noon-2:00PM
NOTE: Prize structure subject to change, and will be updated this week. This is an OAPB Members Only Tournament. You must have 2 members on the vessel.
Entry Fee:
Early Entry- $400 before January 30, 2022
Regular Entry- $450, cash only at Captains Meeting or through Friday February 4, 2022 at 6:00 PM
Prize Structure (Based on 25 boats, to be adjusted proportionately based on actual entries):
Most Sailfish Releases
Overall 1st Place boat – $2,500 & Trophy
2nd Place boat – $1,000 & Trophy
3rd Place boat – $750 & Trophy
Most Points- MUST release at least 1 sailfish (each release is 10 points) added to weight of Kingfish, Wahoo, Dolphin, Blackfin Tuna and Cobia to be able to weigh in any fish for points)
Overall 1st Place boat – $1,500
2nd Place boat – $750
3rd Place boat – $500
Other Prizes:
First Sailfish of the Day- $250
Last Sailfish of the Day- $250
Luck of the Draw- $250 (random drawing of release number)
Pee Wee Angler (10 & under, any legal fish)- $100 & Trophy
