SAILFISH TOURNAMENT RESULTS

This year’s tournament was held with a system front moving into the area. Seas stacked up with  solid 4-6 foot swells, and winds 18-30 mph out of the northeast. Current was blasting north, so sea anchors were necessary to hold a slow drift. Seas had proven to be too extreme for live bait crews prior to the tournament, so locating live bait on tournament day proved to be a challenge for all teams.

Overall, 12 teams came together to compete for the top team positions in OAPB Sailfish Tournament despite the wind and sea conditions.
