SUMMER SLAM – OAPB "Fish.Friends.Family"

OAPB Summer Slam Event and Tournament at Big Game Club, Bimini Bahamas;

Wednesday– Depart Hillsboro Inlet 7:30am. Check-In at Big Game Club around 9:30am and head to Customs and Immigration. Head out for some local fishing on the ledge. Pool party will begin at 3pm. Live music til 5pm. OAPB Belly Flop contest (Big Dog tackle Prize). All registered members will receive raffle ticket for daily prizes from sponsors. Relax and enjoy the island.

Thursday – Open Fishing Day Calcutta. (Heaviest Fish brought to the scales wins the cash pot). Weighed fish must be one listed as eligible fish on Tournament Day. Captain’s meeting at the pool area 6pm. Go over rules for Saturday’s Tournament. Take showers, and everyone head to Resort World for fun and gambling at the casino.

Friday – Open Fishing Day (Heaviest Pelagic fish brought to the scales wins the pot) Weighed fish must be one listed as eligible fish on Tournament Day. Meetup at SS Sapona around noon, and then head over to Honeymoon Harbor. Dock Party will begin around 5pm. All vessels can make their favorite drink for members to try. Everyone will bounce around the dock to mingle. Live music on the dock.

Saturday – Summer Slam Tournament lines in at 6:30am. Scales open/close at 3-4:30pm. Awards dinner/open bar begins at 6pm. Yes this includes open bar. Catering will be Steak and Lobster dinner and more. DJ will be dropping the beat.

Sunday – Check out and depart back to Pompano after breakfast.
