Example: Team On The Edge heads out for a glorious day to fish the Summer Slam Tournament on June 8th. Sun is rising, and they are running full throttle to their fishing spot. Captain Vince Cutcher realizes he forgot to ice down some Budlights, so they had to return to dock to get some cold brews. Now, they truly head out. Over the day they catch a mixed bag of fish, and dry humor since his teammate Victor Colon has bad jokes. Here are their weighable fish: 20, 15, and 18lb Dolphins, 10, 19, 32, 15lb Blackfins, 35lb Grouper, and a 21lb Snapper. They only weigh in 9 fish, but knew they could weigh 10. Seems Mrs. Cutcher missed the gaff shot on their fat Bull, hence only 9 fish boated. So this is how the points totaled.
- Dolphins = (3)(30) + 20+15+18 = 143 points
- Blackfin = (4)(20) +10+19+32+15 = 156 points
- Grouper = 30+35 = 65 points
- Snapper = 20 +21 = 41 points
- Total Score = 405 Points
Team On The Edge putting up 405 points on the leaderboard, and having two junior anglers on the boat, Mookie and Janet Cueto (only 4′ 2″ in height, so we consider her in the Junior Category) looks like they may do well.
I did take European Folklore class in college, if anyone wants me to write an essay for them.
